Woodbridge Township School District and Educere
The Woodbridge Township School District (WTSD) has partnered with Educere to provide a virtual summer school for students in grades 9-12. Educere is a virtual education program for K-12 students that have provided (and continue to provide) online instruction to students in 42 U.S. states and 22 countries.
The virtual summer school program has the purpose of providing enrichment opportunities, credit recovery, or for students to make up failed courses. Every virtual course includes the content of the course, a virtual teacher, and the grading criteria. Learners who enroll in a virtual course are to complete all of their studies fully online. Each of the three high schools in the district (Colonia, JFK, and Woodbridge) has their own personal code for students to enter when they enroll in a virtual course via Educere at www.educere.net. In addition, all three high schools have a list of courses (listed below) offered through Educere solely for the purpose of credit recovery.
